Shipping

Straightforward shipping, worldwide. Here's what to expect.

The short version

  • Free UK shipping on orders over £50.
  • Orders placed before 4pm GMT are dispatched the same working day.
  • We ship with Royal Mail, DHL and UPS. Available services are shown at checkout.
  • EU orders use our IOSS scheme — VAT is collected at checkout, no surprises at the border.

UK shipping

We offer free standard shipping on all UK orders over £50. Below £50, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and chosen service.

Orders placed before 4pm GMT on a working day are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 4pm, on weekends, or on UK bank holidays are dispatched the next working day.

International shipping

We ship worldwide, with a few restrictions where local regulations prohibit import (see below).

EU orders

We're registered for the EU Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme. For consignments under €150 (approximately £125), VAT is collected at checkout at the destination country's rate. No further VAT should apply at the EU border for these shipments.

From 1 July 2026, a flat EU customs duty (currently set at €3 per item category) applies to all consignments under €150. Some EU member states also apply their own national handling fees on imported parcels. These charges are set by the destination country and may be collected by the carrier on delivery.

Rest of world

For orders outside the UK and EU, and EU orders over €150, any import duties, taxes, and handling fees charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer. We're unable to declare a lower value or different description on customs paperwork.

If you refuse to pay import charges or fail to collect a shipment, the destination carrier may return it to us or, more commonly, destroy it. We are not responsible for shipments destroyed, seized, or returned due to unpaid import charges or refusal of delivery. No refund is issued in these circumstances.

Hazardous goods certification

Our devices contain lithium-ion batteries, which are classified as hazardous goods when shipped by air. SVIUK Ltd is IATA-certified for the transport of Section II Lithium Ion Batteries by air, in accordance with Section 1.6 of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. All international shipments are packaged and declared in line with these requirements.

Customs declarations

All shipments are declared accurately using the correct HS codes and product descriptions. E-cigarette products are declared as ENDS (Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems).

We will not:

  • Declare a lower value than the actual order amount
  • Declare goods as something other than what they are
  • Mark commercial shipments as gifts

Shipping FAQ

Orders placed before 4pm GMT on a working day are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 4pm, at weekends, or on UK bank holidays ship the next working day.

You'll receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order is dispatched. If it hasn't arrived in the expected window, check the tracking first — carriers occasionally hold or scan parcels before delivery attempts.

If the order hasn't shipped yet, email us at sales@evolvdna.co.uk straight away and we'll update it. Once the order is dispatched we can't change the address — you'll need to arrange with the carrier directly, or wait for it to come back to us.

Check with neighbours and any safe-drop locations first (many carriers leave parcels in sheds, porches, or with neighbours without flagging it clearly on tracking). If you still can't find it after 48 hours, email us and we'll open a case with the carrier.

Yes. We're registered with an IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) fiscal representative, which means for EU orders under €150, VAT is collected at checkout at your country's rate and there's no further VAT to pay when your parcel arrives.

Orders outside the UK and EU, and EU orders over €150: customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are charged by the destination country.

Some countries prohibit the import of e-cigarette products to retail customers. We comply with those restrictions. The list above is accurate to the best of our knowledge — if you believe your country is listed in error, get in touch and we'll look into it.

No. We declare the correct value and description on all customs paperwork. Asking us to do otherwise is misdeclaration, which is a customs offence.

Customs holds are outside our control. If you're asked to pay import duties to release the parcel, you'll need to pay them to take delivery. If you refuse and the parcel is destroyed or returned, we can't refund the order.
