Evolv are the engineers behind the DNA name. Based in Hudson, Ohio, they've been designing vape electronics since 2009 — specialists in power regulation, temperature dynamics, and the firmware that makes a vape perform consistently across thousands of puffs.

Their boards have powered many of the most respected devices in vaping, licensed to manufacturers worldwide. If you've used a serious mod in the last ten years, the board inside it was likely a DNA.

The DNA ONE is the first pod system Evolv have engineered end to end for vapers. No compromises for someone else's business model, no features held back for someone else's roadmap.

Evolv designed every part of the DNA ONE in Hudson, Ohio — the chipset architecture, the firmware, the pod structure, the body. That's where every DNA design has come from since 2009.

The device is contract manufactured under exclusive agreement by Shenzhen Innokin Technology Co. Ltd. Innokin are one of the most established names in vaping hardware — vertically integrated, ISO-certified, with two decades building devices for the brands the industry trusts. They don't subcontract, and they don't cut corners.

Choosing Innokin was deliberate. The DNA ONE is the most precise pod system Evolv have ever built; it needed a manufacturing partner capable of delivering that precision at scale. Innokin meet the brief.

ALWAYS ON TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Not a mode. Just how it works.

The DNA ONE reads coil temperature thousands of times every second. When it detects the coil approaching the point of a dry hit, it reduces power automatically.

You don't select a mode. You don't configure anything. There's nothing to remember.

The coil never reaches the temperature where burning can happen, because the device won't allow it.

You don't do anything. It just works.

REPLAY TECHNOLOGY

Save the perfect puff.

Take a puff you really like. Double-click the Replay button. The DNA ONE records the exact characteristics of that puff — the power curve, the temperature, the duration — and reproduces it every time. Same flavour, same warmth, same draw. Every puff from that moment on is the one you saved.

It only exists on devices running a DNA board — and the DNA ONE is the first pod system Evolv have ever built around it.

PROTECT

Refill in time. Every time.

Protect watches the liquid level in the pod. When the wick's getting close to dry, the device tells you to refill. Ignore it, and the DNA ONE stops firing until you've topped up.

No damaged coils. No changed flavour. No burnt tasting puffs. Just refill and carry on vaping.

THE PODS

Built to the same standard as the board.

The pod matters as much as what powers it. Every batch of DNA ONE coils is tested for resistance consistency. Every pod is pressure-tested for leaks. Nothing ships that hasn't passed both.

That matters because the DNA ONE is reading coil conditions thousands of times a second. If the resistance the device measures doesn't match what the coil actually is — even by a tiny amount — Temperature Control can't do its job properly, and Replay can't guarantee the same puff twice.

The device is only as accurate as the pod it reads. A coil that's a tenth of an ohm off its label turns all the precision inside the DNA ONE into guesswork. Which is why the pod isn't treated as an accessory. It's treated as part of the instrument.

Two options at launch:

0.6Ω — a warmer, airier draw, closer to the feel of a traditional vape mod

1.0Ω — a tighter draw, closer to the feel of a cigarette
